The ASTM D 1998 standard is a nationally recognized protocol that addresses:
  • Raw materials of construction
  • Manufacturing processes
  • Product applications

The ASTM D 1998 standard is designed for:

  • Rotationally molded flat-bottom, upright, cylindrical tanks of one-piece seamless construction
  • Minimum volume of 500 gallons
  • Minimum required wall thickness not less than 0.187"
  • Atmospheric pressure
  • Temperatures up to 150 F
